He is also the co-founder of Perfect Spell Publishing Company. Mafemani hails from the Limpopo Province in a rural area called Rotterdam, which falls under the Mopani district. He also supports Duvula Mahuntsi High School by donating books, certificates, and sanitary towels to the teachers and students. His book, Xiyimo, which means ‘situation,’ is a collection of poems based on real-life incidents.

Mafemani’s life journey demonstrates his resilience. Despite facing hardships, he initiated a project to provide food for the homeless and the poor. His gratitude towards those who supported his family during tough times reflects his character. According to him, “Those difficult years helped me to realize that with God’s help and the support from others, I will realize my dreams one day.”

Mafemani’s perspective on giving back to others emphasizes the importance of community support. He states, “People think giving back to others is all about being rewarded or blessed. For me, it is not what people think. I do it for my happiness and to bring a smile to others. I help young men understand what being a real man is. This is why I wrote the poem ‘Ndzi Wanuna’, which means ‘I’m a man’. In short, a Mani is a shade – the provider and protector. I am concerned about the increase in gender-based violence – the killings of women and children in our country. I can say something one day that will make a difference”.
